- 1 and 2/3 cup of Sugar
- 2 teaspoons of Vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 squares of Unsweetened Chocolate (melted)
- 2 cups of Flour (sifted)
- 2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
- 1/2 a teaspoon of Salt
- 1/3 of a cup of Milk
- 1/2 a cup of Pecans
- Powdered Sugar for topping
How to make Chocolate Pecan Crinkle Cookies:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease your cookie sheet.
In a mixing bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, cream together shortening, sugar, and vanilla.
Beat in eggs one at a time, and then chocolate.
Add your creamed mixture to your flour mixture, alternating with the milk. Blend well.
Fold in pecans.
Chill for 2 hours.
Form into 1-2 inch balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool.
