  • Donut
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 /3 c sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 c + 1 TBSP milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 TBSP oil
  • Cinnamon/Sugar Mixture
  • 3 TBSP Sugar
  • 2 TBSP Ground Cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP butter melted

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together.
  • Add in vanilla, milk, egg and oil. Combine until mixed. You don't want to over mix the batter.
  • Place mixture in a piping bag. If you don't have a piping bag stick a ziploc bag into a short glass and fold the bag over the glass. Using a large spoon place mixture into the bag. Seal the bag removing the air. Snip the corner of the bag and pipe into your donut pan.
  • Bake your donut for 8-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • While your donuts are baking mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping and melt the butter.
  • Once your donuts have cooled brush the top of the donuts with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon and sugar mixture. Let set for 5-10 minutes.
  • Enjoy with a nice tall glass of milk or coffee!
