A Christmas Cookie recipe that is the spirit of Christmas. With dried cranberries and white chocolate chips I'm not sure there is a better Christmas cookie to give to friends and family....or Santa!

Ingredients
2 ¼cupsall-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
½teaspoonsalt
1 ½teaspooncornstarch
¾buttersoftened
¾cupgranulated sugar
¾cuppacked brown sugar
1 ½teaspoonvanilla extract
1egg and 1 egg yolk
1cupNestle Toll House White Chocolate Morsels
1CDried Cranberries
Instructions
PREHEAT oven to 350° F.
COMBINE flour, baking soda, salt and cornstarch in a large bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Stir in vanilla extract. Add egg beating well and then add in the egg yolk and beat until combined. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels & cranberries.
Chill dough in the refrigerator for a minimum of 20 minutes.
Drop by rounded tablespoon (or a 4cm ice cream scoop) onto un greased baking sheets.
BAKE for 6 to 8 minutes or until the middle of the cookie has set.
COOL on baking sheets for 2 minutes. The cookies will appear puffy, but, will thin out once they cool. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
