Ingredients
3-5poundspiral ham
20ouncecan pineapple chunks with juicereserve juice
⅓cuphoney
2tablespoonsbrown sugar
toothpicks
Instructions
Add the pineapple juice, honey and brown sugar. Whisk until mixed thoroughly.
Place ham on large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Fold up sides of foil, to make a bowl like shape around the ham. Gently separate slices of spiral ham. Pour glaze over ham.
Using a toothpick, add pineapples to the top of the ham and securely wrap foil around ham. Place ham on trivet inside pressure cooker. If you are using a sling, add it now.
Put your Instant Pot on High for 2 minutes per pound. Allow to release naturally for at least 10 minutes and then you can do a quick release. By allowing the ham to rest after the cooking process, this will allow for a more moist ham!
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Grab your trivet and place inside the inner pot of pressure cooker. Pour in 1 cup water. Place foil sling on trivet–this will help you when you remove the ham after it has cooked. TIP: A foil sling is a piece of aluminum foil (big enough like you are covering a casserole dish) folded length wise about 1" wide over and over again until you are done.
