2 8ozCans of cooked chicken breast in waterdrained
1 ½cupShredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Turn crockpot on to start heating the bowl on low or high (depending on how long you want it to cook). 1-2 hours on High or 3-4 hours on low.
Cut cream cheese into smaller blocks so that it will melt faster in the crockpot and make it easier to stir.
Break apart chicken breast so it’s in more shredded form.
Add chicken breast, cream cheese, ranch dressing, hot sauce and cheddar cheese to the crockpot.
Stir dip often while it melts, about every 20-30 minutes so everything mixes together and doesn’t burn to the bottom and sides of the crockpot.
Notes
Gather all your ingredients at once and prepare crockpot ahead of time. Make sure all your ingredients are at room temperature unless mentioned not to.
Cutting up the cream cheese will help it melt faster and incorporate into the dip.
Buffalo Chicken Dip can be enjoyed with anything, chips or celery are suggested here, but any veggies, crackers, dry breads or pita crisps.
If you’re in a hurry, you can heat the ingredients in a medium saucepan and then transfer it to your crock-pot.
