  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1/4 sugar Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Active Yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • Butter melted
  • Brown Sugar
  • Allspice
  • Cinnamon
  • Cream Cheese Frosting

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Add your flour, sugar, salt, and yeast into a mixer with a dough attachment (works best).
  • Mix until well combined.
  • In a small saucepan, add your milk and butter and heat up until scalding hot.
  • Add hot milk and butter to flour mixture.
  • Mix slowly until well combined and then add in your egg.
  • Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Remove from mixer and knead your dough with floury hands for a few minutes. DO NOT over knead.
  • Roll dough out with a rolling pin into a long rectangular shape.
  • Coat entire top of the dough with melted butter. I used a pastry brush, as shown.
  • Cover the entire top of the dough with a layer of brown sugar, followed by a layer of allspice, and then a layer of cinnamon.
  • Flatten out once more, gently, with a rolling pin.
  • Roll the dough up tightly as shown, and slice into 1 and 1/2 inch slices.
  • Place cinnamon rolls into a greased baking dish.
  • Let them expand briefly before placing into the oven. Make sure they are in a warm dry area when expanding.
  • Place into oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  • Remove from oven and cover with cream cheese frosting.
  • Serve and enjoy!
