  • 1 C Pretzel Sticks broken in half
  • 1 C Chocolate melted (I used Semi-Sweet it's what was on hand)

  • BREAK pretzel sticks in half, place in a large bowl
  • MELT chocolate (either in the microwave or a double broiler)
  • MIX the melted chocolate and pretzel sticks together, ensure each pretzel is coated with chocolate.
  • SPRAY your cupcake pan with a little non-stick or baking spray.
  • SCOOP out a tablespoon of the pretzel mixture into your cupcake pan.
  • PRESS the pretzel mixture from the middle outward. You want to ensure the middle of the nest can hold whatever food you will be putting inside.
  • HARDEN for 1-2 hours in the fridge.
  • REMOVE your Chocolate Birds Nest very carefully. I've found that it is easiest to use a spoon and loosen the edges to pop it out.
  • PLACE your egg, candy, ice cream or whatever yumminess inside!
  • Most importantly, enjoy this little piece of Heaven!
