Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip Appetizer Recipe

This is a great dip or spread to make for an appetizer, and can be served with crackers, chips, or crusty bread for a delicious treat. You can make it fresh, or make it ahead, and warm it in the oven before serving. You can place it on buffets, party tables, or on the coffee table for small gatherings. Any way you serve it, it will be a favorite.

  • 8 ounce Cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons green onion minced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
  • OPTIONAL - 10 pieces of cooked bacon for the top


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a food processor, blend the cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy. Add the cheddar cheese, green onion, parsley, and garlic powder and blend until smooth. Remove the canister from food processor, and gently fold the crumbled bacon into the mixture. Place the spread into a 9 inch glass baking dish, and smooth top evenly in dish. Place 10 pieces of cooked bacon in a lattice pattern on top of the cheese spread, and bake for 15 minutes. Remove and cool for 15 minutes before serving with crackers, chips or crusty bread. Enjoy
