Instructions
Place the cranberries, jalapeno peppers, green onions, Parsley, lemon juice, sugar, and maple syrup in a food processor.
Pulse until the ingredients are chopped.
Transfer to a bowl and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Placing them in the fridge allows the flavors to develop and combine together.
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer, to mix the cream cheese until it is nice and fluffy.
Place the cream cheese in a shallow bowl and spread evenly. (I used a Staub baking dish
Add the cranberry mixture and gently spread evenly.
Place back in the fridge until you are ready to serve.
Serve and Enjoy!
Notes
If you taste the cranberries right after you pulse them in the food processor, the cranberry flavor will be the dominant flavor. However as you let the mixture set, the cranberry flavor will blend with the green onions and jalapeno flavors. We served them with Ritz crackers but can also serve with your favorite crackers, pita chips, or vegetables.Use leftovers: Mix in the cranberries with the cream cheese then spread on a bagel.Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 - 4 days.
