Place the seasonings and oil in a gallon size ziploc baggie.
Close the bag and thoroughly mix the ingredients in the bag by massaging it by hand.
Open the bag and add the crackers.
Seal and gently rotate the bag so that all the crackers get coated.
Leave the bag to rest overnight, flipping the bag once after an hour, if possible. Enjoy!
Notes
Store these crackers in a sealed container or baggie for up to 1 week. I do not suggest refrigerating or freezing these.
● You can use vegetable oil in place of canola, but I’ve never tried other oils to know if any other options are viable.
● If the bag doesn’t get flipped/rotated at least once when resting, some crackers might end up more oily than others. It’s not a huge deal, but they definitely turn out more even if rotated.
● I tend to transfer the crackers to a clean baggie/container after they’re finished soaking in the flavors. Makes for a cleaner snack time.
