Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

sugar

orange juice

fresh cranberries rinsed and picked through
Instructions
Combine the sugar, orange juice, and water in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir until well mixed.
Add the cranberries and a pinch of salt.
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Cook for about 10 minutes, or until most of the cranberries have popped. (I like to leave a few whole for texture.)
Remove from heat and let cool for at least 30 minutes. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
This recipe cooks down to about 2 cups of sauce.
