On a small cookie sheet, spread the cool whip out flat and smooth. (You can use parchment paper if you want too) The thicker you do it, the better the shape will come out!
Stick in the freezer overnight.
Make your hot cocoa, THEN take it out of the freezer and use cookie cutters to make shapes. You want to work fast before it melts.
Carefully use a spatula to lift it up and pull apart the edges.
Stick in your mug and enjoy!
Notes
You can add crushed candy cane pieces on top of the cool whip if you want before freezing it!
