In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the jello and boiling water; stir until the jello is completely dissolved. It's crucial to follow this step to avoid clogging the syringes.
Re-stir after adding the vodka.
Fill the syringes with the jello. Just over the 1-ounce mark, fill it up.
4.Turn the syringe upside down so that the tip is upward. After giving the syringe a quick flick to cause the air bubbles to travel to the tip, gradually press down on the plunger until all of the air has been released and the jello is flush with the tip.
Put the syringe's end cap on and store it in a cup or similar container with the cap down.
Chill for 2 hours or until set. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Before serving, you can prepare these ahead of time and keep them in the refrigerator for up to four days with the caps on.Avoid freezing. You can purchase larger syringes, but I assure you that as they get larger than one ounce, they become enormous. It should not be extremely difficult to squirt the shot into your mouth once the jello sets up, so you want to keep it thin enough. You can add a little more vodka if you want them even thinner than the recipe calls for, but use caution or they won't set at all. When filling the syringes, avoid placing their tips on the bowl's bottom. There shouldn't be any leftover jello gunk left in there.
