Then add in the flour, baking powder, and salt and stir until the dough is well combined, it may feel soft and sticky.
Chill the dough in the fridge for at least one hour.
After chilling, preheat your oven to 350℉ and line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out your dough about ¼ of an inch thick and cut out the hearts with your cookie cutters and place on your cookie sheet 1 to 2 inches apart, they do not spread much.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bottom starts to just slightly golden, these should still be mostly white in color.
Color the frosting while the cookies cool by separating the frosting into 3 bowls, add pink food coloring to one, red food coloring to another, and leave the last one white. Stir the two with the food coloring.
Frost the cookies with a knife or piping bag and tip and then add sprinkles before enjoying!
