Best Non-Toxic Dishwasher Detergents
After realizing that I needed to fix my hormones, I immediately listed all our chemicals for free on Facebook marketplace. My husband thought I was crazy but I knew that it was affecting us in horrible ways. Even after washing our dishes, I could smell that fake chemical smell on them. I thought to myself, this film must be leaching into our food! So I gave all four huge jugs (I stocked up at Costco previously ugh!) of the Cascade gel detergent away. Truly Free Dishwasher Soap
I started researching and came across my new favorite company, Truly Free. I ordered 4 bags of the dishwasher soap an waited. It arrived pretty fast and I was so impatient to test it out! I put a whole scoop of the powder into the dishwasher and ran it as I normally would. After a couple hours, I opened the dishwasher and to my surprise the whole dishwasher was SPARKLING! I seriously don’t think it’s ever looked so clean. I picked up my plates and cups to find no scent. All my stainless steel silverware was also glimmering. One bag has 25 loads but I only use half a scoop which makes 50 loads! It still works perfectly and I can feel good about doing dishes naturally. Highly recommend!!! Also, it was a pain to scoop out of the baggie so I grabbed a white dish with a top at Target to put it in!

BlueLand Dishwasher Detergent
One company I stumbled across was BlueLand and there dishwasher tablets are non toxic made with plant based ingredients. It comes with a tin can to store the tablets. I think you could even get by with breaking them in half if you scrape off your dishes first. They are pretty tiny though.
Dirty Labs Dishwasher Detergent
Dirty Labs can be found on Amazon and have great clean nontoxic ingredients! We love fragrance free! Dropps UltraWash Dishwasher Pods
I personally have not tried these dishwasher pods but the reviews are great on Amazon and I double checked all the ingredients and they are clean. Make sure to get the UNSCENTED version as the lemon has fragrance in it (could be lots of hidden chemicals!) The ingredients are: Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Percarbonate, Sodium Citrate, Alkoxylated Alcohol,Protease Enzymes (Subtilisin), Amylase Enzymes, Silicic Acid, Sodium Carboxymethyl Inulin, Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH)
