Creamy Pesto Dip

Course Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes quartered
  • ½ jar Pesto I used Raos 6.7oz jar (any will work!)
  • 2 blocks Cream Cheese
  • Balsamic Glaze

For Dipping:

  • 1 Baguette sliced and baked
  • Crackers/wheat thins

Instructions

Toasted Baguettes

  • Slice the baguette at an angle.
  • Place on a cookie sheet then spritz or brush the tops with olive oil.
  • Bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees until crisp. Let cool.

Pesto Dip

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a loaf pan or dish, spread out the two blocks of cream cheese in an even layer.
  • Scoop half the jar of pesto on top.
  • Slice up your cherry tomatoes in quarters, then place on top. (Clean up the edges of the dish as they will turn brown in the oven!)
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Add a small knife and serve with bread or crackers! Serve immediately.
