How to Get Tar Off Your Car Without Damaging Paint
It’s that time of year again where they start fixing all the potholes and roads with sticky black tar! My Jeep was completely covered in the wheel wells, and all over the doors! The photo above is the before picture. Thankfully there is a quick trick that literally melts it away.
Grab some Goo Gone or WD40 and spray it onto the tar. Let it sit 30 seconds to a minute then wipe it with a microfiber cloth. The photo above is about 1 minute after wiping, wow!
My husband was using WD40 and said that he preferred goo gone as it worked faster. Happy cleaning!
