How to Make Cinnamon Almonds

Make some cinnamon sugar almonds for a treat! They go great at the holidays for gifts or just for parties. Make sure to also try our cinnamon pecans recipe too!



Crockpot Cinnamon Sugar Almonds
Servings 3 cups
Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups whole almonds
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of water
Instructions
- In a large bowl whisk together the egg white and vanilla extract until light and frothy.
- Add the almonds and stir to coat.
- In a separate bowl mix up the brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss the almonds into the sugar mixture.
- Spray your slow cooker with non-stick spray and add the almonds.
- Cook on high for 2 hour stirring every 15-30 minutes.
- After 2 hours add the water and stir.
- Cook for another hour stirring every now and then.
- Use a slotted spoon and remove the almonds from the slow cooker and place on parchment paper to cool completely.
- Serve!
