How to Make Homemade Fettucine Alfredo
I grew up on alfredo sauce in a jar and while I didn’t know any better…Olive Garden always tasted better! This homemade alfredo sauce recipe is one of my favorites for a pasta night. Make sure to try spaghetti alfredo recipe!
What ingredients do I need to make fettucine alfredo?
- Unsalted butter
- Heavy Whipping Cream
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- Whole Ground Mustard
- Italian Seasoning
- Sea Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Parmesan Cheese
- Fettucine Pasta Noodles
If you’re not a fan of mustard you can omit it from the recipe but it gives that zing to the pasta dish! If you want the sauce creamier you can also add a little extra heavy whipping cream. Enjoy!
Fettucine Alfredo
Make a homemade alfredo sauce for your fettucine pasta!
Servings 4
Ingredients
- ½ Cup Butter unsalted
- 1 ½ Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- 4 Cloves Garlic minced
- ½ Tsp Whole Ground Mustard
- ½ Tsp Italian Seasoning
- ½ Tsp Sea Salt
- ½ Tsp Freshly ground black pepper
- 2 Cups Parmesan Cheese grated
- 1 lb Fettucine Pasta Noodles
Instructions
- Add the butter and Cream to a large heavy skillet.
- Allow to simmer for 2 minutes.
- Whisk in the garlic, seasonings and grain mustard and cook another 2 minutes.
- Add the freshly grated parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
- Stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve immediately over the fettucine pasta noodles.
