When eating on the Keto diet, there are some things that people just miss. An easy grab and go breakfast or treat can be at the top of the list. Keto Chocolate muffins can be exactly what you need.

Can you eat muffins on keto diet?

While you can not have regular flour or sugar when you are making keto muffins, with a few changes, you can have a healthy keto muffin. Almond flour can be used to make keto muffins and use Swerve and sugar-free chocolate instead of sugar.

These Keto Chocolate Muffins are filled with chocolate flavor without worrying about going over your carb count. Using almond flour, almond milk, and swerve and sugar-free chocolate, these muffins are low in carbs and taste like the real thing.

Variations to Keto Chocolate Muffins

  • Add Cocoa Powder or melted chocolate – If you want double chocolate muffins add cocoa podwer or melted sugar free chocolate.
  • Add Flavor – You can add flavoring to your muffins, like peppermint or other flavors you like.

Keto Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients:
  1. ½ a cup of Almond Milk
  2. 3 Eggs
  3. 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  4. 1 and ¼ cup of Almond Flour
  5. ¼ a cup of Swerve Sugar
  6. 2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
  7. ¼ teaspoon of Salt
  8. ¼ cup of Coconut Oil (or Avocado)
  9. ½ a cup of Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate Chips (mini are best)
Step by Step:
  1. Start by beating your eggs, milk, and vanilla together.  step 1 in keto chocolate muffins
  2. Add in remaining ingredients (except chocolate chips).step 2 of keto chocolate muffins
  3. Beat with hand mixer until well blended.
  4. Add in chocolate chips and stir by hand.add chocolate chips to keto chocolate muffins
  5. Place cupcake liners in cupcake pan and fill ¾ of the way full.
  6. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, or until baked through.
  7. While muffins are still warm, add a few remain chips on top.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
