Homemade Cookies and Cream Ice Cream is a family favorite frozen treat. This no-churn ice cream recipe is so easy to make, you only need 3 ingredients and the kids will be in awe at how delicious it is.
During my childhood ice cream was an extra special treat. We had a tradition to get Graeter’s Ice Cream every night before the first day of school. I’ve continued that tradition with our kiddos! They always get either Chocolate Ice Cream (recipe coming soon) or Cookies and Cream.
The kids and I recreated this Cookies and Cream Ice Cream recipe during Spring Break. With my foot recovery, heading to the beach or a cruise wasn’t an option this year, so I had to make up for it somehow!
Believe it or not, the kids were actually very patient and didn’t ask me when the ice cream was going to be done. Instead, the kept “checking on it”.
Later that evening we all sat down and showed Jas what we had made that morning. The kids were super excited to try it!

Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Recipe Notes:
Now if you search a lot of homemade ice cream recipes call for Sweetened Condensed Milk. The kids don’t really need all that sugar before bed and I’ve also been really watching my sugar intake.
So we opted to use evaporated milk because that doesn’t contain sugar. Now if you want to be able to control the sugar and sweeten it up a bit (I thought it was fine) you could always add in a tablespoon or two of sugar when you are mixing everything together.
