One Dish Chili Dip Appetizer
One of my favorite things to do is hosts our friends and family. Our events are often kids running around, playing games while the adults are gathered around telling lies stories, laughing and having a good time. I love the fact that we are created memories for our children, because these events are what I remember of my childhood.
Now when we host it’s typically dinner parties. However, because of my recent foot surgery, we’ve been hosting pretty much everything from watching the Big Games on television to birthday parties to the holidays.
Typically, I ask everyone to bring a side dish or dessert and then I provide drinks and the main meal. However, with all the entertaining we’ve been doing lately, it can get costly.
For the last two parties we’ve hosted, they’ve been based around watching the TV. With my recent foot surgery, I’ve had to find new recipes to create that don’t require a lot of clean up, are quick because I can’t stand on my left leg, don’t lack flavor and are made with few ingredients {because I have to send Jason to the store!}.
One Dish Recipes
The biggest Game Changer for me during these past 9 weeks is making recipes that are in ONE DISH! Because I’m a bit of a snob and need to cook with fresh ingredients, it’s been a bit tricky. I will also admit that I don’t like to use the Crock Pot, however, it’s become my Husband’s life saver!
When you have guests over, it’s everything to get the house and food ready on time, not to mention, make ourselves presentable… right?!?
Recipes that are made in one dish…let’s think of this as a life hack that should go out to the world as One Dish Recipes!
{Let’s have that go viral and change everyone’s lives for the better K?!?}
Ain’t nobody got time to be cleaning, cooking and acting like we have our lives together as we are still vacuuming as our friends begin to pile in the front door.
PLEASE tell me that you have been there?!? Then as you politely excuse yourself to go change your shirt covered in filth and make yourself look presentable in 3 minutes or less you are beginning to wonder why in the world you even decided to host this main event anyway, right?!?
STOP! You are no longer going to be that person!!!

What one dish appetizers are you going to create for the Big Game?
This Chili Dip is easy to make and easy to devour. Watch the video below to see how this recipe comes together in just 3 minutes.
You’ll bake it off in the oven for 15-20 minutes along side some Garlic Bread and you’ve got a one dish dinner!
How do you make chili dip in the oven?
Being that I’m still unable to walk, I’ve been frequenting Walmart because they have a variety of electric carts at my disposal!
If you’ve ever needed an electric scooter, you know that they are often left without power and surprisingly enough, they do have a lot more carts than other stores I frequent so that is a plus.
Plus, I wanted to gather all the supplies I needed for the Big Game and needed a few birthday gifts for a certain (almost) 8 year old so it was a one stop shop!
