These bunny cupcakes are covered in fluffy whipped buttercream frosting and pink sugar. A great Easter dessert recipe to make with your kids!
Listen, nothing in life is perfect and neither are these Bunny Cupcakes. However, at the end of the day, it is about the kids having fun. For me, it is about creating memories!
I hate decorating. I like baking, but when it comes to making things look pretty, I have ZERO talent for that. It’s like this. If I’m good at something, it’s fun. If I am HORRIBLE at something, I don’t enjoy it. Now, if I’m learning, that’s a different story.
But, you see. I have ZERO freakin’ patience. And I’m talking ZERO! ZILCH. NADA. NONE.
So when I’m over on Pinterest pinning my recipes and I see this cute and perfectly decorated Easter bunny cake, I’m like yeah, that’s not gonna happen! Instead, I grab the kids and do our best to recreate the idea that I saw. I don’t go back to the website in hopes of making ours look as pretty as theirs. Why? Because again. I have ZERO patience!
Plus, these people are professional. I’m a damn stay at home Mom with three kids, trying to run multiple businesses. Keeping my kids alive by feeding them 48 snacks, cutting up multiple oranges a day and hulling handfuls of strawberries by noon is time consuming!
As we gear up for Spring Break and the boredom that is to follow….I figured I’d grab a few ingredients and let them go to town. Check out our video…in real life, folks!
