Learn how to cook bacon perfectly every time with my tried and true method! You’ll have crispy bacon without the messy grease splatter, and you’ll never burn your bacon again with this fail-proof method!
As a Mom to 3 young kids (7, 3 and 1) if I can find a kitchen hack to do something to make my life easier, I’m all for it.
For instance, instead of standing over the kitchen counter for 20 minutes picking at the eggshell of a hard boiled egg, I’ve come up with my own method on How to Peel Hard Boiled Eggs.
If you follow me over on Instagram you may have seen this poor image below that I shared of this burnt bacon. 🙁 I only had 4 pieces left and the girls wanted it for breakfast one school morning.
I used the cast iron skillet to make 4 pieces of bacon. I set the temp to medium-low, but I was grabbing clothes for each child, pouring milk, checking homework, trying to drink my coffee so I could face the day and everything in between.
Running around like a chicken with its head cut off, I ended up burning it, which is why I now cook bacon in the oven.
Oven baked bacon is always crispy and it lays flat instead of curling on the ends.
