You can’t have Thanksgiving without the sweet potato casserole dish to serve! It’s just the way it is. This recipe will knock your socks off with the crunch of the pecans and all the magical flavors. Make sure to also try our sweet potato bites!

Sweet Potato Casserole
Ingredients
- 2 bags of frozen steamable sweet potatoes (9oz each) or 5 sweet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
Toppings
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- ¼ cup Brown sugar
- 1 cup Chopped pecans
- 1 ½ cup marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- Cook sweet potatoes as directed on packaging. In a small bowl, mash sweet potatoes.
- In a large bowl whisk brown sugar, egg, milk, butter, and maple syrup until well blended.
- Add sweet potatoes to the bowl and mix well and pour into casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, Whisk together all topping ingredients except the marshmallows. Spread mixture on top of sweet potatoes.
- Evenly sprinkle marshmallows on top and put in oven for 30 minutes.
