The Easiest Way to Clean Tall Windows
I just moved into a house with a TON of tall windows and I didn’t realize how much work it’d be to keep them clean. The morning sun comes and I could see all the film and handprints just covering them! I got out my paper towels and Windex but soon realized I was too short.
Fastest Way to Get Streak Free Windows
I ordered the holy grail tool….a E-Cloth deep clean mop! Then I also purchased a pack of 4 replacement pads that can be thrown in the washing machine! Originally I bought this mop for cleaning my hardwood floors (you only need water) but the extendable arm is just perfect for my windows! Here’s a photo of my 2 clean windows I did and the 2 filmy gross ones on the right.

Of course my 4 year old son was whining to try using the mop too! Even he could do it. We just sprayed windex all over the window then used the mop with the microfiber attatchment pad and went straight up and down. One pad did best for 2 windows. Then just throw them in the wash! This is a great practical FAST way to clean them if you have no time but if you really want to deep clean…try this.
Best Window Cleaner Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- ½ teaspoon Dawn Dish Detergent
- ¼ cup Distilled White Vinegar
- Spray Bottle
- Extendable Squeegee
- E-cloth Mop
- Microfiber Mop pads
Instructions
- Mix up all the ingredients in a spray bottle then spray your windows.
- Put the microfiber pad on the mop then go up and down the windows.
- Use a squeegee and start from the top to bottom.
- Ta-da!
