Ingredients

  • 1 any size box of white cake mix + ingredients on the back of the box (water, oil, eggs)
  • 1 3 oz. box of strawberry jello
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • Red gel frosting
  • Plastic vampire teeth optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to prepare the cake batter.
  • While the cake is baking, make the strawberry jello according to the package instructions.
  • Allow the finished cake and jello to cool completely.
  • Use a straw to create holes in the cooled cake.
  • Gently pour the jello into the holes you've made.
  • Cover the cake and refrigerate for 4 hours to allow it to set.
  • Frost the top of the cake with cool whip and decorate with red gel frosting. (You'll need several small tubes of frosting to cover the entire cake.)
  • If you'd like, cut six pairs of plastic vampire teeth in half and place one half on each piece for decoration.
