Ingredients to Baked Chicken and Rice
- boneless skinless Chicken breasts
- butter
- long grain and wild rice
- brown rice
- long grain rice
- chicken broth
- cream of celery soup
- sweet onion
- carrots
- red bell pepper
- Italian parsley
- garlic
- tomato paste
- honey
- onion soup mix
- garlic salt
- seasoned salt
- seasoned pepper

- brown sugar

How to Make Baked Chicken and Rice
Butter the bottom and sides of the casserole dish, and set aside. Combine the long grain and wild, brown, and long grain rice in a bowl, and set aside. Combine the diced onion, carrots, red bell pepper, Italian parsley, minced garlic, tomato paste, and honey, and set aside.
In another bowl, combine the onion soup mix, garlic salt, seasoned salt, seasoned pepper, Turmeric, Paprika, brown sugar, and Italian seasoning, and mix well until all ingredients are blended.
Add the combined spices to the rice and stir well. Add the diced vegetables to the rice and spices, and stir until all ingredients are well blended. Add the rice mixture to the casserole dish, and add the chicken broth, cream of celery soup, and water, and stir gently to mix ingredients.
Lay the chicken breasts on top of the Rice in the casserole dish. Spices will come up over chicken breasts. Place a Tablespoon of butter on the top of each chicken breast, and sprinkle salt and pepper on chicken.
Place the casserole dish in the oven at 400 degrees, and bake uncovered for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, carefully turn the chicken breasts so that they brown on both sides. Bake an additional 45 minutes, or until casserole is golden brown, and chicken is cooked thoroughly.
Remove from oven, and serve immediately. Enjoy!

- 1 teaspoon of fresh ground seasoned pepper

- 1 teaspoon of Paprika
- 1 Tablespoon of brown sugar
