Copycat Lipton Onion Soup Mix
Whenever I need to make french onion dip or a crockpot pot roast, this is my go-to recipe for homemade copycat lipton onion soup mix! It tastes just like it and it can save you a ton of money to make it in bulk!
What ingredients are in onion soup mix?
- Dried Minced Onion
- Beef Bouillon Granules
- Dried Parsley
- Onion Powder
- Celery Seed
- Black Pepper
- Paprika
My French Onion Dip Recipe:
- 2 Cups Sour Cream
- ½ Cup Mayonnaise
- This Onion Soup Mix Recipe
Combine in a bowl and stir until smooth. Chill for 1-2 hours and then serve with ruffle chips!
Onion Soup Mix

Ingredients
- ¼ Cup Dried Minced Onion
- 2 Tablespoons Beef Bouillon Granules
- ¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Dried Parsley
- ⅛ Teaspoon Celery Seed
- ⅛ Teaspoon Black Pepper
- ⅛ Teaspoon Paprika
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until fully combined.
- Store in a jar with a lid for up to 2 months or use immediately.
Notes
This recipe is the exact amount to replace the packets you buy at the store. Those packets are technically 1 ounce, although this comes out to be more than 1 ounce, trust me, it’s the perfect swap for those packets.
