Vietnamese-Inspired Spicy Lemongrass Pork
From fridge to table in 20 minutes, there’s no measuring when it comes to cooking this Vietnamese-Inspired Spicy Lemongrass Pork!
Disclosure: All thoughts and opinions are my own. Compensation was provided for Kroger to help bring awareness to their AMAZING Meal Kits! If this were something I didn’t believe in, I wouldn’t bring you this info!
Did you read the sentence above? You are probably wondering how in the world you can prep a meal with no measuring or cutting involved….right?!? Well my friend, even I need help sometimes. I need a LOT of help…but, that’s a whole other post 😉
I posted a few days ago about the Stuffed Poblano Peppers that I made from Prep+Pared. Just so happened I made the Poblano Peppers for myself for lunch because my family refuses to eat Quinoa and I wanted to have a healthy option! Then I decided on trying the Pork option after I saw it on ClickList and made it the other night for dinner when all the kids wanted was Soft Pretzels and a Fruit Salad!
When I had surgery {remember, I couldn’t walk for almost 8 months!} – we had ordered a service so all J had to do was put a quick meal together. Well, let me tell you – he was in the room every 5 minutes asking me questions. Now mind you I was highly medicated…it literally took him over an hour to make one of these meals.
These Prep+Pared meal kits are WAY easier. There’s no measuring on any of them and little to no cutting involved! The ingredients are fresh and on the table in 20 minutes! They are seriously so easy – I was thinking about grabbing one for my almost 10 year old so that she could cook dinner for us! She loves to be in the kitchen with me, but, she’s not good at taking direction. With the easy to read directions I think this would be so much fun for her. Then I could sit on the bar still at the counter and watch someone else make dinner for once….hey, that just gave me an idea! Mom’s night off = a Prep+Pared Meal one night a week!
And if you are like me and like to add this and that to recipes – you don’t have to do that with this Spicy Lemongrass Pork! A little salt and pepper for your own tastebuds and that’s about it! The coconut milk in with the rice gives the pork the sweetness it needs from the heat and then the white wine vinegar gives the slaw a crunch. It’s all PERFECT!
Prep+Pared is only available in Cincinnati Kroger or Ralph’s stores (for now) as they haven’t rolled out nationally to all Kroger stores yet! However, if you have tried a Prep+Pared Meal Kit be sure to leave a comment below letting me know which you have tried and your thoughts.
