FAQs
- Can I heat the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips on high to melt them faster?
- No, unfortunately cooking the milk and chocolate chips slow and steady is best to get the desired result of fudge.
- Can I use more than a ¼ cup of sprinkles?
- Of course, feel free to add more sprinkles when adding in the cookie mix and vanilla.
- Can I put the fudge in the freezer to set?
- It is best to let the fudge set in the fridge. Setting fudge in the freezer doesn’t always lead to a faster set time and can lead to the fudge ‘sweating’ at room temperature
- How long does this fudge last?
- Store at room temperature or in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.
- Why didn’t my fudge set?
- The most common reason why this fudge recipe didn’t set is due to heating the milk and chocolate chips at too high a temperature while melting.
Hope you enjoy these fudgy bars for the holidays!
