Homemade Bisquick Mix Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Using a fork, pastry blender, or your fingers, blend in shortening until the mix resembles sand.
Notes
Best if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 months. Use as a substitute in recipes that require “Bisquick mix.”
