How to Make Grinch Cake Mix Cookies
Make some fun green Grinch cookies for your Christmas cookie exchange this year! It’s so simple to make and you can use a box cake mix from your stash!
The red heart candy makes them so stinkin’ cute on a white platter for your Christmas party!

Grinch Cookies

Ingredients
- ½ cup Butter softened
- 1 8oz Cream cheese, softened
- ¼ tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 Egg
- 1 15.25oz White Cake Mix
- Green food coloring
- 2 cups Confectionary sugar
- Red candy heart
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese.
- Add in vanilla extract and egg and combine.
- Next, add in cake mix and stir until well blended.
- Add in about 2-3 drops of green food coloring. Mix until it’s evenly corporated.
- Using a cookie scooper, scoop out the dough and form it into 1” ball.
- Drop them into the confectionary sugar and roll them around until coated.
- Place them about 2” apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10-13 minutes.
- Once it’s out of the oven, place the red heart in the middle of the cookie and let cool for about 5 minutes.
