Why it works:

  • Heavy cream adds richness to the whole tart. There’s decadence in every bite!
  • A hint of your favorite instant coffee adds the right flavor that will perk you right up.
  • Chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate come together to create a comforting and rewarding treat.
Recipe Variations:
  • For starters, you can add your favorite berries on top of the tarts for a pop of color and a more sweet and fruity taste.
  • Why not throw in some hazelnuts in the chocolate mix? Yummy!
  • If you have some in your pantry, you can go ahead and even make some white chocolate glaze to streak over the tarts!
  • Put in a flavorful surprise by adding a layer of salted caramel under the chocolate! One bite will reveal the gooey caramel center that will meld perfectly with the chocolate.
  • You can also put on a layer of raspberry jam on top of the chocolate. You can’t go wrong with that one!
  • If you want your tarts to have something extra, why not slather on some creamy frosting or whipped cream on top and decorate it with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries — or even more chocolate? It would be too pretty to eat!
  • If you’re more of a nut fan, you can add some pecans, walnuts or macadamias on top of your tarts. Delicious!
  • For special occasions like Easter, Christmas or birthdays, you can make some cute shaped chocolate to put on top!
Cook’s Tips:
  • Make sure to mix all the ingredients well to achieve the right consistency.
