While I don’t know too many ways to change this cake recipe, there is one change I know you can make.
Different Soda: When making Cracker Barrel Coca Cola Cake, you can change the soda. I have heard of people making the cake with Dr. Pepper, Sprite or 7-Up.

- Flour
- Sugar
- baking soda
- salt
- cinnamon
- coca cola
- butter
- cocoa powder
- eggs
- milk
- vanilla
- powdered sugar

Cracker Barrel Coca Cola Cake Recipe – Step by Step
In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon, set aside.
In a saucepan, place cola, butter, and cocoa powder. Bring to a slow boil and whisk until everything is combined smoothly.
TIP: You don’t want the mixture hot, you simply just want to bring everything together and melt the butter.
In your large bowl pour the coca-cola mixture and combine.
Next add in your eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Spread evenly into a pregreased 9×13 baking dish.
Bake for 25-35 minutes at 350°.
Remove the cake from the oven, when a toothpick inserted, comes out clean.
For the icing: put cola in a saucepan and allow to boil for 10-15 minutes, until it reduces down to about ½-3/4 c.
Stir in butter until melted and combine cocoa, whisking in the powdered sugar until smooth. Add in vanilla and whisk to incorporate.
Pour over the cake and allow to sit for 1-2 hours for the icing to harden.
