Save money and make your own powder laundry detergent at home WITHOUT using borax! It’s very simple and easy to make. If you want to make liquid detergent try this laundry soap recipe.

What ingredients do I need to make powder laundry detergent?

• Epsom Salt
• Baking Soda
• Washing Soda
• Sea Salt
• Essential Oil

DIY Powder Laundry Detergent

Ingredients

• ▢ ½ cup Epsom Salt
• ▢ 1 ½ Baking Soda
• ▢ 1 ½ cups Washing Soda
• ▢ 1 tbsp Sea Salt
• ▢ Essential Oil I opted to use lavender
• ▢ Large Jar

Instructions

• Combine the Epsom salt, Baking Soda, Washing Soda, Sea Salt and 20-25 drops of essential oil in a jar. Mix with a spoon.

Notes

Use 1-2 tablespoons per load.
