What ingredients do I need to make fettucine alfredo?

  • Unsalted butter
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic
  • Whole Ground Mustard
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Sea Salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Fettucine Pasta Noodles

If you’re not a fan of mustard you can omit it from the recipe but it gives that zing to the pasta dish! If you want the sauce creamier you can also add a little extra heavy whipping cream. Enjoy!

Fettucine Alfredo

Make a homemade alfredo sauce for your fettucine pasta!
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 10 minutes
Servings 4

Ingredients

  • ½ Cup Butter unsalted
  • 1 ½ Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 Cloves Garlic minced
  • ½ Tsp Whole Ground Mustard
  • ½ Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ Tsp Sea Salt
  • ½ Tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Cups Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 lb Fettucine Pasta Noodles

Instructions

  • Add the butter and Cream to a large heavy skillet.
  • Allow to simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Whisk in the garlic, seasonings and grain mustard and cook another 2 minutes.
  • Add the freshly grated parmesan cheese and stir until melted.
  • Stir in the chopped parsley.
  • Serve immediately over the fettucine pasta noodles.
