  • Change the seasonings. While herbs de Provence is an easy way to get the Tuscan flavors into this Tuscan chicken recipe, another choice is to add Italian seasonings.
  • If you do not have heavy cream, half and half works as well.

How do you make creamy garlic chicken?

Making creamy garlic chicken in the slow cooker is easy. Place chicken into the bottom of your slow cooker and top with sea salt, pepper, and herbs de Provence. Add in crushed tomatoes and chicken broth. Place on low for 6 – 6 ½  hours or high for 3 hours. After cooking, add in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Gently stir and allow to cook for an additional 30 minutes. Stir gently until cheese has melted into the heavy cream. Finally, add in baby spinach. Fold into the hot liquid of your chicken. Cover with lid for 2-3 minutes. Remove lid and gently fold ingredients.

Ingredients
4-5 medium-sized chicken breasts
1 can diced tomatoes, drained (14.5 oz)
½ cup chicken broth
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon herbs de Provence
½ teaspoon sea salt
4 oz fresh baby spinach (approximately 2 handfuls)

Ingredients
