My Heavenly Recipes Raving Reader
You guys I have a weakness during the holidays – it’s called eggnog!

While most people indulge in the Christmas cookies, it’s all about the Eggnog for moi. 😉 Now I do nibble on the occasional eggnog cookie, but, just a nice glass of a good well made eggnog is where it’s at.

For me that is Trauth Eggnog…there’s nothing better. It’s got the perfect combination of sweetness, but, not overly done. You can taste the nutmeg, but, it’s just a hint and not over done. It’s pure heaven!

Then there was this introduction to Starbucks Eggnog Latte. Since I’m so weird about my eggnog and coffee beverages, I figured I’d at least give it a try — and I was in love! I can’t possibly afford to purchase this every day, nor, do I have the willingness to drive 15 minutes away to the closest location with a drive thru. 😉

If someone from Starbucks is reading this (yeah right!) can you PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE I’m begging you, put a drive thru at all of your locations? – Sincerly, Mother of 3 doesn’t want to burn her children.

So I came up with my own homemade version of Starbucks eggnog latte and I have to say it’s pretty darn close….
