Here’s our favorite Valentine’s Day treat to make for gifts to give away…cupids crunch valentine popcorn! You have all the chocolate goodness which makes it a salty and sweet combo.

To make this adorable and delicious treat, you’ll need just a few simple ingredients. Start with a bag of microwave popcorn, which will provide the base for your sweet and salty masterpiece. Next, grab 8 ounces of M&Ms for a burst of colorful fun, and 1 cup of mini pretzels broken into pieces for a satisfying crunch. You’ll also need 10 ounces of candy melts in pink or red (pink is especially cute for a Valentine’s Day treat!), and some sprinkles to add a festive touch. That’s it!

First, pop your popcorn and mix in some M&Ms and pretzels. Then, melt half of the candy melts in the microwave (20-second bursts, stirring between each) and drizzle it over the popcorn. Mix it all up!

Spread the popcorn on a wax paper-lined baking tray and drizzle with the remaining melted chocolate. Top with sprinkles – heart-shaped ones are especially cute! Chill the tray in the fridge for 20 minutes, then break the popcorn into bite-sized pieces and serve!

After we make a few batches of this valentine popcorn, we put a scoop into clear bags and use cute pink ribbon to tie a bow. Add a clever quote to finish it off like “You make my heart pop” or something cheesy 😉 You could also just make this valentine’s day dessert for the family to enjoy on that day too!
