How to Make Fun Halloween Popcorn Balls

Make some fun little pumpkin shaped popcorn balls for the kiddos this year for Halloween! They look so cute bagged up with a little bow!

What ingredients do I need to make these marshmallow popcorn balls?
- Marshmallows
- Orange food gel
- Butter
- Airheads (watermelon green flavor)
- Tootsie rolls
- Bag of popcorn

You could also make these into little red apples for fall too! Just use a red gel food coloring instead of orange!
Pumpkin Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
- 10 oz bag marshmallows
- 2 drops orange food gel
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 airheads watermelon green
- 6 tootsie rolls
- 1 bag popcorn
Instructions
- Place marshmallows and butter into a pan. Turn on low heat. Mix until all marshmallows are melted. Stir in orange food gel.
- Pop the popcorn as directed and place into a bowl. Pour marshmallow mixture over the top and mix well.
- Spray hands with olive oil or vegetable oil spray as this helps from the balls sticking to your hands. Roll the popcorn into balls and set on parchment paper.
- Pull the airhead in half and then shape into a leaf. Use the back of a butter knife to make a line down the center of the leaf.
- Place a tootsie roll on top of the ball and then add the airhead leaf.
