Tips for Making Unicorn Bouquet Cupcakes

Don’t be intimidated by these cupcakes! Here are a few tips for you:

Start with the biggest flowers/swirls first. Then fill in the smaller flowers and leaves.

You can make flowers and swirls with any star tip.

Use any leaf tip to make the ivy/leaves. You could also use a grass tip. Be sure to use consistent pressure when piping.

When filling the piping bag with icing be sure to get all air pockets out and twist the top of the bag tightly around the icing to keep pressure.

Practice on wax paper first.

Make sure your icing consistency if firm enough. if its too soft the flowers can melt or droop.
