Fun Halloween Themed Poke Cake

Make a spooky, bloody vampire poke cake for your next Halloween party! The vampire teeth on top also makes a great little gift if you don’t cut them in half!


Vampire Poke Cake
Servings 12
Ingredients
- 1 any size box of white cake mix + ingredients on the back of the box (water, oil, eggs)
- 1 3 oz. box of strawberry jello
- 2 cups water
- 8 oz. Cool Whip
- Red gel frosting
- Plastic vampire teeth optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Follow the instructions on the cake mix box to prepare the cake batter.
- While the cake is baking, make the strawberry jello according to the package instructions.
- Allow the finished cake and jello to cool completely.
- Use a straw to create holes in the cooled cake.
- Gently pour the jello into the holes you've made.
- Cover the cake and refrigerate for 4 hours to allow it to set.
- Frost the top of the cake with cool whip and decorate with red gel frosting. (You'll need several small tubes of frosting to cover the entire cake.)
- If you'd like, cut six pairs of plastic vampire teeth in half and place one half on each piece for decoration.
