Malibu Summer Sunset Cocktail Recipe

Can’t go on vacation?  I love to make mixed drinks with malibu rum as it gives me the Caribbean vibe. This sunset cocktail tastes like sweet peaches with coconuts, pineapple and oranges. It reminds me of my trip to Jamaica and sitting on the beach looking at the beautiful crystal clear ocean. If you like Tequila, try our Malibu Bay Breeze cocktail and tequila sunrise cocktail too!

It’s simple to make and your friends will go crazy for the flavors!

The garnishes really make the presentation beautiful with the fresh cut pineapple slices, cherries, and a cute umbrella to top it off! If you like summer drinks, make sure you also try our watermelon cocktail it’s delish!

What do I need to get started?

• Vodka – use your favorite
• Malibu coconut rum
• Peach schnapps
• Grenadine
• Orange juice
• Pineapple juice
• Ice
• Pineapple and orange slices
• Maraschino cherries
• Umbrella straws
• 1 ounce shot glass or jigger
• Tulip glasses – you can use any glasses you want

Malibu Sunset Cocktail

Ingredients

• ▢ 1 ounce vodka
• ▢ 1 ½ ounces Malibu coconut rum
• ▢ 1 ½ ounce peach schnapps
• ▢ ½ ounce grenadine
• ▢ Orange juice
• ▢ Pineapple juice
• ▢ Ice
• ▢ Small pineapple and orange slices for serving
• ▢ Maraschino cherries with stems

Instructions

• Fill a tulip cup or any other about ⅔rds full of ice.
• Pour the vodka over the ice, then add the coconut rum and peach schnapps.
• Pour the grenadine over the alcohol.
• Pour equal amounts of orange juice and pineapple juice to fill the remainder of the glass.
• Serve with pineapple slices, orange slices, maraschino cherries and umbrella straws.
• Serve immediately
