Sometimes, smoothies are the way to go. When you are short on time or need something that is low in sugar, a strawberry smoothie can be a perfect choice. It is easy to make and doesn’t wreck your low carb or keto diet.

You can always make a smoothie without yogurt. Strawberry smoothies are thinner when you make it without yogurt. If you want the smoothie to be thick, add ice when blending.

  • Frozen Strawberries – If you have frozen strawberries instead of fresh strawberries, you can use frozen strawberries instead.
  • Regular milk vs Almond Milk – Use can use regular milk instead of almond milk.
  • Stevia instead of honey – If you do not like the taste of honey, or do not want to use it, you can use stevia to sweeten the smoothie instead.
  • More Fruit – If you would like more fruit in your strawberry smoothie, you can add whatever fruit you enjoy.

How do you make a strawberry smoothie?

Ingredients:
  1. 1 cup of Fresh Strawberries
  2. 2 cups of Almond Milk
  3. 1 cup of Plain or Vanilla Yogurt (to thicken)
  4. 2 tablespoons of Raw Honey (optional, I’ve been putting local raw honey in my smoothies to help with Ohio allergies!)
  5. 1 tablespoon of Cocoa (use raw for a healthier version)
  6. 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  7. 1 Scoop of Vanilla Protein Powder
  8. Handful of Ice
  9. Dark Chocolate Chips (optional for garnish)
Step by Step:

  2. You can add some Swerve Sugar for added sweetness if you desire.

Ingredients
