While Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are delicious, sadly they are not good for you. While it is packed with peanut butter, which is good for you, and chocolate which does have some benefits, overall the amount of sugar in a peanut butter cup overwhelms the healthy ingredients. NOTE: You Need a Jumbo or Oversized Muffin Tin to make these jumbo.
Jumbo Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Ingredients:
- Peanut Butter
- Butter, melted
- Light Brown Sugar
- Vanilla
- Pinch of Salt
- Powdered Sugar
- Chocolate Chips (I mixed dark chocolate and semi-sweet)
How to Make Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – Step by Step
In a large bowl, mix together peanut butter, butter, brown sugar, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Mix in 2 cups at a time of powdered sugar until incorporated and mixed well.
In a large microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup, melt chocolate chips in 30-second intervals until completely melted.
Grab a Jumbo or Oversized Muffin Tin.
Line with parchment paper baking cups and spray with non-stick spray.
Place baking cups in muffin tin.
Place a tablespoon of melted chocolate into the muffin tin and freeze for 5 minutes.
Using a cookie scoop, place peanut butter dough. Using fingers press dough firmly until spread evenly.
Top with another tablespoon of melted chocolate.
Refrigerate or freeze to set up.
