How to Make Pecan Balls
Make some delicious pecan balls for your holiday party! Everyone loves them and they are so pretty on a platter for guests! Make sure to also try our snowball cookies and pecan pralines!
You could also bag them up for Christmas gifts with a cute tag on it. These are a family favorite!
Pecan Balls
Servings 24
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Confectioners sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl except confectioners sugar. Mix with mixer on low until fully combined. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll into 1 inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until set but not brown. Let cool for a few minutes and transfer to cooling rack. While warm roll in powdered sugar. Let cool completely. Once cooled, reroll again in powdered sugar.
