Sugar Cookie Apple Pie Bites are a perfect mini apple pie dessert for when you want something sweet, but, don’t have a lot of time!
If you’ve been around MyHeavenlyRecipes.com for a while, you’ve heard me say this time and time again – but, there are two places that I often find inspiration for creating new recipes. 1. is from dining at restaurants and coming home to create my own variation.

Now, these Mini Apple Pie Bites were inspired from a local blogger friend. You may know her – Jen of CincyShopper.com. She has a Apple Pie Cookie recipe that’s uber-popular on Pinterest!
I knew I didn’t want to copy her recipe, but, instead, use two simple ingredients that I already had on hand to create a quick and easy dessert recipe that’s perfect for fall!
You can TOTALLY make a Sugar Cookie recipe from scratch, but I know how you busy Mommas are LOVING these quick and easy dessert recipes lately. So I’m trying to provide you with more of those!
Ingredients
- 20 oz. Apple Pie Filling
- Sugar Cookie Dough (premade or homemade!)
Directions
- Cut Sugar Cookie Dough into 12 equal sized slices.
- Spray muffin tin with baking spray.
- Place cookie dough into oven at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove cookie dough from oven and indent with the back of a cookie scoop.
- Place a tablespoon of apple pie filling into the sugar cookie dough that’s now formed into a cupcake.
- Place back into oven for another 6-8 minutes, remove.
- Drizzle with Caramel Sauce and Whipped Cream

- Sugar Cookie Dough
Instructions
- Cut Sugar Cookie Dough into 12 equal sized slices.
- Spray muffin tin with baking spray.
- Place cookie dough into oven at 350 for 8-10 minutes.
