Want to know what the Top 10 Recipes of 2015 were?
First and foremost I want to Thank all 35,000 of you who are continuously coming back to MyHeavenlyRecipes.com to grab recipes to share with your own families. At the end of the day I publish recipes to this site to help make your life a little easier, learn how to cook with fresh ingredients, make the vast majority of the recipes from scratch and spending quality time around the table with food.
This year hasn’t gone as I had expected. With my foot injury at the end of July, it’s really stopped me from doing a lot of things that I love and truly enjoy doing.
I haven’t done a workout since the initial injury, which is driving me INSANE. I also haven’t cooked or baked anything since November 17 🙁 Having to go through Thanksgiving and Christmas it’s been pretty rough having to watch my Husband cook. However, I think this has been a test for him and I think he’s enjoying it. At least his recipes have been delicious!
While I REALLY wanted to share some of my favorite dessert recipes with you, I simply wasn’t able to in 2015. As soon as I am able to be up and about I hope to get you a few of my all time favorites — Vanilla Bean Cheesecake and Molten Lava Cake with Strawberry Glaze just to name two!
Top 10 Recipes of 2015
Some of you may have received this in the newsletter {if you aren’t one of the almost 1,000 readers receiving it you can sign up here} that I had sent out, but, I wanted the world to see the Top 10 Recipes {plus, I’m sharing this with other bloggers!} here at MHR as well as it being a quick reference for myself as I am building recipes, sharing them with other recipe websites and will help me to compare for years to come!
Without further ado….
10. Garlic Chicken Pasta | This dinner comes together quickly, a way to sneak in some veggies and for you to enjoy a glass of wine with dinner!
9. Homemade Hershey Sundae Pie | One of my all time favorite dessert recipes! This was also my first recipe that was submitted at FoodGawker 😉
8. Bakery Style Fudge Brownies | If you are a brownie fanatic you’ve got to try this recipe. The icing is also a must along with a big glass of milk!
7. Famous Crack Chicken Salad | A lunch time favorite around here. WARNING: This chicken salad is ADDICTING! It’s one of my favorite recipes of 2015.
6. S’more Cookie Bars | This recipe started it all for MHR! This was something I threw together for a Smore’s Party two years ago and was a huge hit amongst many of the other recipes that I’ve shared here on MHR.
So I thought, why not start a website?!? This is one that I need to reshoot and attach my new logo to!
5. Dreamsicle Shake | Another ugly image, but, it does well on Pinterest! This is one of the recipes of 2015 that has been pinned over 1,800 times.
I think those numbers are super low, so I will update when I find the real number! If you need some more recipes utilizing Shakeology let me know by sending me an email.
4. Crock Pot Chicken Fajita Pasta | With over 3,000 pins, this recipe can’t go wrong, it’s made in the crock pot and you do nothing but boil noodles when you are ready to serve. Several of you have made this one and left a Reader Rave saying how much your family had enjoyed it. In fact, chances are if you make this once, you’ll make it again!
3. Steak & Chicken Kabobs | With almost 20K Pageviews since this recipe was published in early 2015, this is surely an eye pleaser. I haven’t heard from many of you who have made this recipe, but you should. It’s heavenly and is great for feeding a crowd!
2. Homemade Hershey Chocolate Syrup | Another of the recipes of 2015 that ya’ll seem to love is this Homemade Chocolate Syrup Recipe. 25K pageviews & over 17K pins on this baby, it can’t be wrong!
It’s super simple to make, doesn’t take a lot of time and will make your children happy all year round. It’s also used in several of my dessert recipes!
1. Foiled Potatoes | Now I’m just going to go ahead and say it – This Foiled Potatoes is the #1 recipe currently on MHR — and it is one my husband created when he was a teen while camping with his buddies. These bad boys are great topped with sour cream, cheese or just the way they are.
That wraps up the top 10 most popular recipes of 2015.
Now it’s with much sadness that I report there have been quite a few recipes that haven’t received much love.
